Deadma (pronounced dead-mah) is a Pinoy play on the local expression "patay-malisya" from the English phrase "dead malice". Deadma means pretending not to know that something is amiss. This usually does not include facial expression because the purpose of this is to show that you are not affected by somebody or what this somebody says.
As much as I want to master this, especially when I'm at the office, I involuntary roll my eyes or make a facial expression. Now, learning from a good friend, what I do now is I try to imagine myself rolling my eyes. And that usually makes me smile.
Okay, now, office frenemies, die!
